  Only one out of 6 Oz subs is in "operational"status.There is a caution.

   We dunt know if it can fight or not.

  we have bear in mind that none of 6 subs have been declared IOC or FOC.

  Dunt argue with me that IOC or FOC are not a fashion in 21 st century,

  Recently, US just declared F 35 IOC are delayed.

  i think its more economically viable that the submarine be converted to a alaskan crab hunter and earn more  $$$$  while going for dives as $$$ is used up by pumps needed to werk the buoyancy etc ....apart from it being having a 1 month lifespan if it ever goes to a war which is most unlikely ....i suggest crab pots be placed on it and it be sent to alaska as soon as possible.

  coles and woolsworth will be the first supermarket to have the seas bountiful booty.

  normally i make allowances for someone that doesnt have english as a first language, but in your case its just another example of oz bashing

  the article said,  HMAS Dechaineux returns to service joining HMAS Waller

  this is our peace time deployment of 2 subs being available

  the small torpedo didnt measure up and was canceled, its lucky we have the joint aus/usa cbass torpedo, there are only 2 countries that have the cbass which is said to be the best torpedo in the world

  i also think you should read more about the air refueling tanker and its progress
