EOS R-600 RWS for SAF's Terrex

  EOS supplied the RWS for SAF's  Terrex IFVs.  Going by the  specs, it is an extremely capable system . It is a fully stabilized weapons sight & features  : -

  -   integrated video tracker

  -   integrated battlefield sector scanning

  -  daylight camera

  -  thermal imager

  -  laser rangefinder

  Isn't the terrex manufactured for someone else's market? I don't think its for the UK.

  Sorry ,  Terrex is an  ICV and not an IFV as I stated earlier.  

  Terrex started as a STK private venture  project in 1999 in anticipation of a future SAF requirement.  It  was also promoted to the Turkish Army.  

  I believe that  as with many STK products, the SAF is the first user of the Terrex.

  The capabilities of the Terrex are impressive , on paper at least.
