Gaves me the goosebumps when I first watched it...probably coz of the damm solid music(The 1995 submarine thriller Crimson Tide's theme music)
Perhaps we should have a large-scale mobile column with epic/martial sounding music playing in the background during our own NDP instead of some song and dance rubbish every year.
Hey Marco, no doubt it is insipiring but doing that for NDP is not such a great suggestion!
Why? Because of two things, firstly, one would not want to create a atmospehere of intense nationalism - Patriotism is when love of your own people comes first; nationalism, when hate for people other than your own comes first. - Charles De Gaulle.
Secondly, it might backfire on the government being seen as trying to consolidate support through the use of emotionally charged rallies - a key feature of numerous dictatorships.
Great job on the video nonetheless (I am a war history enthusiast).
I watched it again and felt goosebumps...yeah it's the music..the person who edited the video did a damm good job-the crescendos of the song coincided with the high points of the parade
At 1.16- bird's eye view of the parade
1.52- troops marching
2.15- missile launchers
2.44-missile launchers again(I think it would even be more awesome if the video shows mobile ICBM launchers instead of some short-range missiles carried by obiang looking trucks.
The person who edited this video did a great job as well.

By the way, the composer of the music is Hans Zimmer-he also composed the soundtrack for Black Hawk Down, Gladiator, Rock, Broken Arrow etc.
All his music have the "epic/martial" feel.
