With the intorduction of the Terrex to SAF, will it be time to upgrade V200s and use them for other roles ?
totally agree.. v2 although compact on road it does not keep up with 3g army equipments.
haha... my unit had a single V200, and i had some friends detailed to kilat the 4 humungous tyres....took hours and 8 big cans of kiwi. LOL for a nnb open house
imagine the poor chaps for the terrex with its 8 wheels and a whole fleet of them.

The 2nd firing involved the V200 Armour Fighting Vehicle
mounted with a 20mm Oerlikon gun with the latest Night
Weapon Sight,. developed jointly by Thales and Defence
Science and Technology Agency (DSTA). The sight allows
the FDS--Field Defence Squadron-- to better perform their role of reinforcement and counter attack during hours of darkness.
(the 20 mm gun mounted on the V-200 armoured personnel carrier used to defend the base from low-flying aircraft
The 1st firing involved the AGL mounted on a Mercedes
Benz MB240 jeep. The MB240 jeep, the latest addition
to FDS, is slightly different from its Army counterpart,
the former having an additional single shot mode to the
burst fire one. The AGL gives better firepower to perform
reinforcement and counterattack roles during operations.
