  Not even the USN builds their own ships.  They contract those out.

  RSN contracted DCN and ST Maritime for the Formidable classes.

  My chinese may not be perfect but after scouring through the article several times, I dun seem to find any mention of AEGIS? I smell a troll about.

  There are 2 aspects of aegis. 1 is network architecture, the other is network control. The onboard BMS is at least part of the former. As to the latter, there is remote firing capability but not to the extent of the aegis concept.

   

  神盾 in the title means aegis. Just another attention grabbing headline.
