Hey guys i aint sure where i'm gonna post this so i thoght this would be a better place.
What are the laws governing singapore regarding home ownership of a generation 2 night vision monoculars here? This also includes rifle scopes by Trijicon or perhaps bushmasters. Hope someone is able to answer me. Thanks.
I doubt there is statutory regulations prohibiting the possession of this equipment. I believed you only possess the rifle scope, not the rifle itself otherwise different story.
military specification scopes and accessories are not allowed and are restricted items to own by civilians...
Rifle scopes are covered under weapon sights.

However, this is dependent on the ability of the customs officer to spot what is a weapons sight vs standard binoculars. Standard binoculars not covered.

Yes i do think so at first but until what has weasel1962 said i guess i will further read up on the arms and explosive act. Thing is, i have no intention to own a rifle since i will get lots of opportunity to play with them in the army. I just want to collect military equipment as part of a hobby.
Thanks for the tip there buddy, i'll look up the singapore customs to enquire more information about the import. Thats the best solution so far. :)
Please define what is contraband. Thanks for the comment but i don't think that is necessary..
