I've watched "Grave of Fireflies" . The anime is taking place toward end of World War II.

I really hope North Korea won't throw any nuclear bomb to South Korea cos the whole world will be in a deep sh*t if that really happen.

The whole idea of North Korea to have nukes is to make sure it can't be invaded.
The moment North Korea use it the gloves are kinda off for the whole world to make sure it can't do it again.

there's no need to lob nuclear missiles on the US or whoever it is...
Just detonate the nuclear missile in the atmosphere will do....
This will cause the ozone layer to go down...
Multiple detonations will literally rip Earth's ozone layer away totally...not to mention the EMP pulse emitted..the whole world will have problems communicating...

All the noise is just to keep the whatever million NK troops at work lah....I mean if the dictator don;t keep them focus there will be a coup....maybe we see some mini action here and there.
Chicken and a egg situation how do you disarmed such a huge military force without firing a round.

Imprisoned North Korean Commando Dies in Burma Prison
A North Korean commando has died after nearly 25 years' imprisonment in Burma for a bloody bombing attack against visiting South Korean Cabinet members, a prison official said Tuesday. Kang Min Chol, 53, died in Rangoon's notorious Insein prison Sunday, said the official, who demanded anonymity because he was not authorized to talk with the media

nuclear bomb is very powerful because it is a fission process, as in a spliting process. nuclear bombs can be make up of uranium element and from 1 it split into 2 and each go split another 2 into 4 and 4 into 8 and so on and so forth.
Even if you dont kanna bomb to death by the explosion, you will suffer the effects of the radiation / ionization. The explosion it self may be quite large and the shockwave of the explosion, I think can level the whole of orchard, or rather you can feel it.
The radiation coming from the nuclear weapon is even more dangerous and can travel much further. Radiation like gamma rays and x rays are dangerous and you can die from too much of them.
Speaking about missile aiming at the bomb will detonate the bomb probably in the atmosphere, that is worst because all the gases or wat will clog the atmosphere and the radiation will reach the earth surface must easily.
Therefore nuclear weapon is the ultimate weapon. Therefore everyone is stopping north korea from possessing such things. One of those would be able to kill millions. Btw, the energy of one nuclear bomb is equivalent to several million tons of TNT (trinitrotoluene). It takes just one nuclear bomb to stop WWII. Imagine with the technology now, how powerful will the nuclear bomb be.
