  F-5 with an improved radar maybe BVR.  The nose cone limits the size of the dish though.

  More importantly with its small size, it can carry 2 Amraam and cold launch?  This will spring a very nasty trap.

  Our F-5S r AMRAAM capable

  More specifically our F-5S' radars are AMRAAM compatible. Whether the aircraft are capable a not requires a bit more than radar.
