think about all the underground infrastructure we are building like the ammo dump, deep sewage tunnel, circle line and marina costal express way.
all underground, all cost billions and billions of dollars.
look at the figures for the MCE alone. they simply dont add up. i tell you, gahment is up to something.

"Don't put all your eggs in one basket"One simple analogy is.. You have textbooks, and yet your teacher still gives all of you worksheets. So before exams, if you lost your textbooks, you still can refer to your worksheets!
As for your questions on unrevealed secret weapons and spy satellites.. They're meant to be secret, so ordinary people like us all here in sgForums wouldn't know. Even if we do know, we're all sensible enough to know that in the best interest of our country's defence, it's best not to say out.

In a recent symposium held by Japan’s Ministry of Defense a conference took place and caused great controversy. While the prospect of fighting with giant robots in space seems pretty damn awesome, warfare isnt so much about things hitting other things as it is more about building things that can efficiently throw things (usually explosive) at other things. Too many things and not enough giant robots says this humble writer.

Haha, back to topic...how evil of you guys, messing around with the poor TS. Humph, the SAF is pretty darn resourceful sometimes. Of course we have aircraft based overseas. How we're going to bring them back safely in wartime is a problem, but they're there.
As for secret weapons...let's just discuss this issue in private.
We do have satellites (http://politics.sgforums.com/forums/10/topics/35021) , but as to whether they are 'spy' satellites in the sense that they can help us gain signals or other info...you're asking the wrong person. :)

From what I know we have a detachment in Thailand and Perth , which are open ones , the secret ones I think are Taiwan ROC which was also reputed to house our centurion tank ... many years ago we also have detachment in Phillipine
