i jus did thought about it. in my opinion, The anti nuclear pact is not benificial. It will start more traditional wars. if a country has nuclear capabilites, enemies will hesitate to start a war with it. if this capability is taken away, enemies will not be afraid to start a traditional mainstream war in the hope of winning .
So, in short, you want to go back to the Cold War situation of Mutually Assured Destruction?
technically yes.
keep the cold war style game of guessing going will actually help
Nuclear pact can anytime be broken too...

Spoken like a true idiot.
Imagine if states like north korea stockpile nuclear weapons. And one day some general needs to buy a new porsche, so he sells the bomb to osama or some other nut head, and osama nukes new york.
Why don't every country have them, then no war liao...
The Genie is already out of the bottle.
The problem with nuclear weapons is that someday, someone will use it again, be it a state, terrorist or madman. The danger is that it escalates into a full blown nuclear weapon exchange between states. Then we can bid farewell to the human race.
Danger is with numb nut states like Iran or North Korea giving those devices to terrorists.
MAD only works if both parties understand the risks involved.
"I nuke you, you nuke me, both of us are gone. So we just point at each other ok?"
MAD works if both parties have good command control and the missiles have fail safe.
Just imagine if the top leadership is fully committed to MAD, but the button man decide other wise?
nukes are for dudes
who prefer them to pukes
so those who are dukes
will know who the flukes
and string them up high as floops
Patriot missile will do the job! Therefore by deploying such missile can help alot.
No worry for incoming enemy missile.
