.. i thought u meant doll.. as in a hot chick... with a sniper rifle.

Hmmm I think it's basically a doll not a figurine. The clothes are fabric, the body is made of plastic, you could put on or strip any of the accesories. Does this sound familiar to you? Yea barbie. This is imo just a boys version of barbie dolls. yea it's a doll alright.
Figurines are for those Kamen rider SICs stuffs, or those McFarlanes's military but this hot toys is a doll albeit a gorgeous one.
I wouldnt call it a doll or a figurine....come come I teach you.It is called an 'action figure' and it cost a few hundred bucks.

Looks like everybody here is eager to teach but no one is listening or want to be taught.
The way I see it it's a doll why make simple thing complicated?
Suit yourself. So you play with dolls - congrats.
My idea of a doll is the inflatable one made of rubber with two holes (lubricant not included)
i think u better call it an action figure or a model replica.
calling it a doll makes you sound gay.

actually where collectors are concern, there is a great difference in the classifications of "dolls"...
this one can be called a 12" or a 1/6 figure.

actually that's what I thought too....
then open the link... wah lau... standard hot toy stuff.... see that all the time.
Te argument here is not about who is right or wrong but to use the appropriate description for something and not sound too confusing.
Fair enough. Let's call it whatever you wish I was merely using doll to make it sound funny. Dolls for boys!
When selling something a gimick might help but if calling this toy a doll to target the buyers - boys 15 years and above? Which was the reason why I bought this action figure for my 10 year old nephew 2 years ago who always thought of me as a living action hero otherwise better call me Unker Barbie in SAF uniform>LOL
