That "grip" looks similar to the type of modification employed by shooters here to make their ARs compliant with the onerous restrictions placed on the configuration of assault rifles in certain US states. In some of these states, pistol-type grips on assault rifles are banned, so AR shooters substitute a rifle-like grip to circumvent this restriction.
Does the webpage mention where the shooter who built that AR is located? My Chinese sucks royally!
