It is correct that M 777 does not have an engine to provide the power to ram the first round. For this weapons system, the gun crew has to do it using a long pole. <Arty folks, please insert correct name>
Thereafter the next round is rammed by power provided by recoil accumulators.
Correct me if I am wrong, the Pegasus, the engine provides the power for to ram the first shell and together with the recoil accumulators for the next rounds.
