U already answered ur own question.

SAF is kiasee.....which would have been good.
So.....Malaysia was waiting for something to happen? Then announce that commandos would then be on their way so that the pirates' balls would supposedly shrink?
somali terrorists are not even frightened of US Special Forces like SEAL and Delta...malaysian commandos?what's that?

The seas off Somalia, close to busy shipping routes, have some of the highest rates of piracy in the world. The country has been without a functioning central government for 17 years and has suffered from continual civil strife.
Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak said the ships being deployed would provide protection for five MISC Berhad vessels, and would not launch rescue operations.
Counting ships
Officials in the semi-autonomous Somali region of Puntland say the ships are being held at the port of Eyl, a lawless outpost controlled by gangs.
Puntland's minister for mines, who is leading a delegation to investigate the hijackings, told the BBC Somali Service from a hill overlooking the port that he could count eight captured vessels. He said another two were reported to be on their way to Eyl.
The delegation had spoken to local elders, he said, but it had not approached the pirates. The latest vessel to be hijacked was an Egyptian ship which was reported missing on Thursday. Earlier this week a French sailing boat with two crew was seized. Pirates holding that boat are reportedly seeking a ransom of more than $1m (£0.56m).
Puntland's ports minister said after the capture of the French boat that pirates in the region were well-armed and employ a lot of people. He said there was little co-ordination between those trying to tackle them.
In June, the UN Security Council voted to allow countries to send warships into Somalia's waters to tackle the pirates, but the ports minister complained that international vessels "don't intervene".

you dont even want to rescue your own citizens? whose the one without balls
Thread title: Malaysia will attack Somali terrorists again!
thats why i said topic was lol.
i wanted to type "eh where's idwar now? don't see him countering our posts now.."
but on second thought, i rather that we all dont hear from him at all.. let us all enjoy the peace and quiet.. haha..
Actually it's quite obvious that if you see the need to toot your own horn and put down others to make yourself seem better... you are really compensating for an inferiority complex.
Guess some are still sore over losing at the ICJ...
Yeah! RSN got no political will to fight!
The SAF unlike some other militaries in the region has very little political leverage at all. I think we call that Professionalism.
I'll have a good laugh if a Lekiu gets hijacked or something.
Idwar u FUCKING RI or RJ bastard. Listen up. I dont give a damn whether u scholar or what kind of shit. To me, all u mudlanders who look down on singaporeans are just pi-sai (nose shit) to me. Go to hell with ur country. Go join the so-called Malaysian commando unit. I think its not even able to beat our SAF clerks in a straight out fight.
U say 'Singapore chicken'. Funny, cos mudland is the bloody chicken producing country. Their farms produce not enough, so it spread out the load until now all its citizens all produce chickens. I think u are the 5th generation chicken.
Let me tell u; if Singapore and MUDLAND ever go into war, the 1st thing I'm gonna do is to walk over to RI and RJ and kill ya mudland scholar bastards.
kn MY havent rescue the crew but write news all over the world saying they are deploying, maybe still at airport eating nasi goreng. give away the element of surprise. my only know how to pwn their own force! what does singapore got to do with it, none of our vessel or crew got seized. offer help later say we'll very proud and arrogant of our capabilities..

Unlike malaysian's policy, our army's policy is mainly for Defence. Politically neutral, non-offensive type. Excuse me if i find that RSN doesn't Need to prove their ability. Singapore navy got Confidence <--(new words for u huh?).
bloodsucker, chill. idwar --> wild weasle, drawing flak nia~

haha. While, at least he is proud of his country.
Actually if we look at some of the hardware M'sia has, it rivals or even betters that of ours.
Unfortunately their purchasing habits resembles a 6 year old kid who can't decide which candy to choose. That makes mainteinance alone a headache.

Quite true. I just don't like their mentality. Mainly having one race in the army isn't going to help. Also, like what you said, they are rather indecisive.
Aiya, those who can't get in terms with the fact that not everyone is black are just babies sucking their thumb.
the sent the ship for escort duty only...the paskal CRT were drployed on the rest of their merchant ships..if they really want to storm the pirate hive they would sent the 10th bde not paskal...
futhermore piracy were not one of thing FPDA will act to.

Dunno lar, but escort duty also may turn into engagement.
Hello all, I am back after a nap.......
About the RSN.
Yes, this Navy was the best in chasing away Vietnamese refugees.
Malaysian Navy allowed refugees to land at Pulau Bidong and the Indonesian Navy helped them land at Pulau Galang. Singapore Navy merely gave the refugees food, water and then led them out in their leaky boats to the South China Sea to drown by the hundreds. Don't believe me? Ask the old timers. The RSN all have blood on their hands, the blood of the drowned Vietnamese refugees, many of whom were actually oversea-Chinese.
And the Singapore Commandos.......yes, the heros who killed the Pakistani hijackers at Changi Airport, hijackers armed to the teeth with butter knives and forks.....all killed even when they could not defend themselves. By the way, their leader had just become the new Pakistani President yesterday. Let's see if he has forgiven Singapore.
Anyway, I am waiting for some action at the Gulf of Aden....these are real heros who fought in real battles
Oh you are awake GREAT!!! Time for us to sleep. Happy busting pirates. ^-^
