Govt should create a way for people who got military license for car or bike to be able to convert to cv license. maybe like clocking a certain no. of driving/riding hours with a certified driving instructor?
I've got a Military 2B license from my scout days, but impossible to convert during army times. need to clock 7000 click which is impossible, unless you are a dispatch rider or something
The driving schools should allow a way to convert the miltary licenses without having to go through the entire course again. waste of time and $.

are you too lazy to do dispatch work?
Nobody seems to read. He has a BIKE licence from being a recce trooper, I highly doubt they were used for dispatches. Theres the normal CCO MT line's Pes C drivers and staff cars for that.

Wonder will that encourage people to keng from riding.
lol to those people who replied too lazy to do dispatch work and who wants to do dispatch work:
everybody wants to do dispatch rider as NS vocation. slack, get to ride around, fun.. who does not want? And why will people be to lazy to do dispatch? Dispatch rider is a fun and slack job if u very lucky can get if you got military bike license and got dgraded... one of the instructors told us that.
And no NSF recce or scout trooper or whoever goes through bike course can clock 7000 click during their NS time, i never even smell 1000 click. SAF not too stupid give you time plus petrol let you ride non stop.
IPS: FFS 've already ORD like 3-4 years ago, just want to make use of my military 2B license instead of having to waste time and $ go through entire CV bike school again. Everybody acts like im trying to chao keng.. Seesh.

But you do sound like want to chao keng what. There's a reason for why the need of 7000km to enable conversion to civilian license. That is experience. I had been v-com for various drivers with different mileage. And really those who had clocked more really shows a more matured in their driving and usually more responsible compare to the new drivers.
If you find it a waste of time to go through bike school, then don't go through lor.
Anyway if you're indeed that good, I'm sure you can clear all lessons in double quick time.

it's not just about time, it's also about $.
And i did go through the military bike school.
Plus my entire proposal as above was some kind of special course where you clock a certain number of hours riding under school supervision. Nothing to do with chao keng.
But save on time and $ for theory lessons and tests, and those practice courses where they teach you basics like how to lift bike and what not.
