If there is a vert grip, I don't see why I won't use it instead of gripping the weapon further in.
I suppose I'll need to find some opportunity to handle a new M-16 with RDS and vert-grip to be able to judge.
imho about the m16 / sar 21 issue...
those trained with any given firearm will have problems adjusting to another system.
its a universal problem.
glock users wont be comfy with a 1911 and vice versa. (different grip angles)
same with the sar21 and m16. (wpn balance issue , thuis affecting the handling and ultimatly, accuracy)
for example:
give a Steyr AUG/ FAMAS / TAR21 to a SAR 21 trained soldier and he will get accustomed to it real quick in terms of handling and shooting.
same as giving a Galil / G36 / masada to a M16 user.
You are wrong. I use both a G36 and an AUG and I find both comfortable to use and handle, and use them well. A good shooter won't have any problems adjusting to a well designed system.
Fwah, nice.
Hmm, No fish prawn also can?
Hahaha. No offense to it.
But Hey, the toy looks nice, i would want one too.
It would be great to own a gun, be it a toy or real one.
Hahah.

Great Pics. Keep it up.
One qn, are those guns, plastic or metal replicas?
How much do they cost?
Originally posted by 4Justice:Actually, did you have to fire with a sling on?
Most LE forces that use the MP5, esp in the UK, do so with the weapon pushed forward against the sling, rather than pushed back against the shoulder. It helps counter the climb, but even then the MP5's weapon climb is much less compared to the AK's due to it's delayed roller lock-back system.
Nope, no slings.
ever being hit by airsoft bullet in the face? its frakking hurt!
I got one in the ass before... Butt it wasn't that bad... My ass is equivalent to 800mm of steel armor plate.

Not so bad lah. A paintball hurts as much and gives bruises.
I was just telling my ah sir last night about how when we had a live fire excersise, one of the emptry shells, fresh off a firing HKMP5 landed down a t-shirt of a friend.
Friend was hopping here and there, tearing at the t-shirt to release the hot hot shells trapped between his skin and the tshirt.
The shell finally was released from the body by tugging the tshirt off his pants. Can sell a lovely long red marks down his left front torso, marking the trail of that shell.
Nice... he got branded by a 9mm casing.

Try having a 9mm case land between your glasses and eyebrow. Now that's fun! This happened just last week when the idiot in the stall on my left was rapid firing his Glock 19 and his spent cases were flying over the partition into my stall. At least I got lots of his brass for reloading though.
yea i got a nice mark allright on the nose.
Gee... I thought having hot 5.56 flicked at me by my friend's ejector port was bad.... you guys got it worse.

lol... like your magic finger that can punch through armour right :D ?
oh yea. i landed on my arse on a coil of barbed wire once. not too bad. quite miraculous.
pants got hole, SBO got hole, underwear got hole but virtually unscratched.

Some are metal some are plastic, both types are available with the metal bodied ones costing more.
On average, the chinese made ones cost about 50 to 100 pounds shipped to UK. Japanese made ones cost more, but aren't always better.

no slings? thats weird.

Yes. Had half a tooth shot out. Taking one on the nose is nothing compared to having a tooth shot out at close range.

Lol barbed wire is nothing. Someone fell onto a low wall during a skirmish and even with a plate carrier and replica SAPI over his torso, cracked a rib.

ouch. that really must have hurt.
i was jumping off a low wall when i slipped because the grass and concrete were wet. nearly landed body first onto the barbed wire.
anyway, ran into some concertina wire before as well. it hurts like hell to have the barbs stuck into your knee.
how does one fell onto a low wall :P ? sounds reallly cool. what was he doing ?
It was really sort of the remains of a pillar or something along the sides of the walls of some tunnel. There were 2 of them about 20 to 30cm apart. He was uh, storming the tunnel. Pyros had been used so the visibility was maybe 3 ft at best. He ran to the side, got tripped up by one of the remanants of the pillar and fell onto the 2nd bit of brickwork hard.

i have a hard time telling those retard about the safe firing distance...they keep shoting at me at close range.
But where I play, we don't have minimal firing distances. We're hardcore lol. Sometimes you pay the price for being hardcore, but I've taken a cluster of shots on auto to the head from an AEG at 2ft before. Thats less than a meter distance. I myself have stitched people up at close ranges before. Thats how we roll at my urban site :P
Ironically the tooth got shot off at a woodlands site.

Maybe when the barb finally reach your skin, it found a spot that conveniently had a hole?
Sounds like some kinda ninjitsu stunt to fall on a low-wall. From Ninja Company ah?
me and my Glock 34. its long but its NOT heavy , thanks to the bigass hole on the slide.
