Heh thanks =) Luckily for me, I am intuitively good with mechnical stuff & tinkering with my hands.

Thanks. It depends. Some optics, like the Aimpoint RDSes, most replica are as good. Some, like the Eotechs, might be a bit dodgier depending on the brand of the replica. Mostly though, people either use replicas because they don't see the point of using real steel stuff, or people use real steel stuff because they're a bit of a brand whore. It's up to them, if they afford it, why not? But optics DO have a risk of being shot out, so people who buy the real ones, risk a bigger heartache IF it happens.

BB is ok though if i aint mistaken. can pass it off as a toy but you must declare i think. not too sure. from what i heard (i used to know a shop which brought in these BBs)
wow. i wished i lived in a part of the world where i can buy guns.
the FN2000 is just so awesomely sexy. do you have an airsoft variant of that ?
Actually, yes we do have an airsoft variant of the FN2000. It's one of those "love it or hate it" weapons due to it's looks.
From what I know though, it is illegal to bring airsoft into singapore unless you have a special permit? If you do apply for the permit it obviously won't be cheap and I do not think you're allowed to store it at home.

KL got meh?
I'm looking at getting BEKAs BDU or Gorod midnight stuff. I've got a VZ61 and am pulling together a spetsnaz outfit. might also go get a JG Beta Spetsnaz just for the fun of it.

That pistol he has is a CO2 pistol. CO2 airguns tend to be much more powerful. Also the news headline is a bit of scaremongering and not really unbiased.
Under the firearms act in UK, a weapon is only a firearm if it is able to fire a projectile above a certain amount of energy. Our AEGs in UK are limited to a 1 joule limit.
Tank, since u're into commie bloc stuff, here's a picture of my living room wall for you

JG. Great chinese brand, one of the best. The above pics? both are JGs =). Don't see why some people love to pay loads for brands with perceived quality like STAR but are actually shit. If I can pay peanuts for something thats great quality, why not? And its easy to upgrade the internals. My G36K has a TM top rail and a CA pistol grip both of which I installed myself. =) Heres the gearbox from when I removed it from the body to put it into a CA grip:
r u saying the same for the STAR L96?

Quite possibly. If you've seen the amount of complaints from dissatisfied STAR owners lately in international airsoft communities and forums...
Spetsnaz loadout? Working on it. Need BEKAs BDU set, and a vest and i'll be mostly good to go.

STAR aegs are crap no doubt but the L96 is arguebly one of the best made gas sniper rifle.

One can hope. For sure, some of their other gas products are.... questionable. Loads of complaints about their GP30s.
someone actually started this

would hardly ever happen. reason because some idiot might brandish an airsoft in a robbery.
the joke is, beach road and changi village both have this military "gear" shoppe that sells them already. not airsoft specifically but orange tipped replicas
how and where they get from i dont want to know. the mp5 looks realistic from far but upclose can tell its plastic.
u mean "noise makers"?
You'll pardon me if I don't bother signing it because I'm not planning to live in Sg in the long run
