Now, SAF day is on the 1st July, will they brought out this new design in public on that day?
Or, will the SAF military contingent for NDP be doning this new design?

There's an official email going around, for those who have seen it you should know what i'm talking about. Anyway the basic uniform will be brown based I'm not sure why, and grey uniforms will be introduced later. Thats all i'm saying haha.
And yes it would be similar to US uniforms.

Brown? Well I guess when they call you a piece of sh*t, you'll really look like one now. LOL! Doesn't seem logical giving out brown and then grey later. Just give the grey. No need for a stop gap measure uniform.

It's not a stop gap. The basic uniform will be Brownish/tanish green. While a Grey 1 will be introduced later for the urban ops guys.

Its totally worthless in our terrain. I've seen it worn over here and you really stand out like a sore-thumb. The colors are way too light. Though I agree it looks cool.
Has seen a side by side comparision, and you'll be surprised how gd is our traditional woodland camo.

I think brown suits us fine. Don't the Boy Scouts have their uniforms in brown too ? Or yes, velco is truly non tact- makes hell of a noise when used by an idiot in a middle of a night ambush.
