The MCVs are already pretty top of the line corvettes in this age. They are certainly better than any of the corvettes in the region (already!). Thier armaments and sensors are more suited for a light frigate. In spite of the article, I strongly believe you will probably hear of a replacement sometime next decade(refer to the development on replacing the old MGBs). Ships dont materialize all of a sudden. RSN plans way ahead of its time. Upgrades to me are buzz-words for `stand-by' as in `stand-by' to be condemned and replaced.
No doubt about the capability of our MCVs, i am no sailor but it does look very top heavy to me much like my old SM1 tank.
Are there any stability problems with the MCVs in rough sea states?
