I dunno, I think I would rather risk having the plane go kaboom in Seletar airport than right smack in the middle of Changi airport. Stupid Aussies should be glad we're not trigger happy like some countries or they'd be wanking off in heaven right now. -

at the radar?

1.It may be a slow cruise missiles,UAV with explosives,
or a Fighter or bomber.
2.We should put a heavy penalty on two pilots.
If we do so, next times the pilots on those plane may
fly away to escape from heavy penalty
or may create more troubles.
If we let them get away so easy,it just invite more
unapproved flight.
So what to do? -

By sending our F16s up, it shows 2 things.
Firstly, we are not taking our security for granted. We do not assume that a unverified plane, no matter fast or slow, to be harmless. As we are a very small country, not like malaysia, so do not have a huge buffer zone to sit back first and see what that plane is up to. We need immediate action to do the verification once the alert line is crossed. But at the meantime, we do give the unverified plane a chance instead of just launching missiles at it. Maybe the pilot/plane is in some sort of genuine distress? Firing missiles on first instances is too inhumane and dangerous. Even in war, blue on blue incidents are very bad PR which even the US could not handle very well. -
The handicapped guy claimed his radio was kaputs which is why he couldn't reply. As for these 2 Aussies, they probably thought they are above the law or some big fark or something. I agree, a hefty fine and jail term is in order. A small country like our's cannot risk having jack arses flying around as if their grandfathers own the country.
