i dont see what is the point except that is flashy to be able to strip and assemble a rifle in a short time... i mean would the robbers be scared of u cause u can strip and assemble a rifle in 53 sec?
same logic applies to my unit's policy of polishing boots till they shine. as if having shiny boots will deter potential criminals from entering base... -

It's been nearly 20 years since I completed my NS, and I can't remember if we had to completely disassemble the BCG (i.e., remove the bolt and FP from the carrier) as part of the exercise. Can anyone jog my memory?
