US experts say China planning to secure NKorea's nuclear arsenal

WASHINGTON: China has contingency plans to dispatch troops into North Korea and secure nuclear weapons in the event of instability in the hardline communist state, according to US experts who have talked to Chinese military researchers.

A shift in Chinese security thought? One might not have expected them to advocate such an interventionist measure a few years back, although this current plan is still one that supposedly pays respect to the UN's legitimacy with any contingency plan to be carried out only through the UN's processes.

I think it's just a US to Iraq situation.
Probably should that happen it allows the PLAN/AAN/AAF to test some of their hardware/ manouverings/Battle networks.
The bigger thing in the picture that would come to my mind first is that after "securing" the nukes, the nukes will be "destroyed" and all the scientists and people involved will be "placed in a safe and secure area" never to be seen again.
Same work just different masters and probably better pay.
Maybe the border suddenly shift a few hundred kilometres into N.Korea as a "security zone".The humanity crisis will be south korea's, that's for certain. -
