Tengah Airbase in Google Earth - Uncensored

Was browsing thru the latest satelliate updates and realise the usually censored/blurred zone has been miss-placed to the east of the base.
Almost the entire western Singapore is now uncensored. According to DigitalGlobe, the photos were taken as recent as 19Nov with 99% cloud free.
A major security blopper, IMO. -

There seems to be quite a few trees flanking the RW. anybody got that link to some chinese website which shows a F-16 in a highly vegetated enviroment?

There's really nothing much you can find in that google earth pic.
Even to trained analysis people, there's really nothing to see. No security breach. -
Yeah, google earth now have pretty good pictures of the western side of Singapore. Can also see Sungei Gedong Camp man including all the training areas!
But those pictures don't show much other than the camp layout which I guess is pretty much semi-public knowledge anyway. -
Really. What can such pics reveal? Unless the pic was taken at the right moment at the right time.

some may know there used to be an SAF unit that specialized in erecting and knocking down fake stuff to fool enemy recce efforts .... tanks, missiles, aircraft ....

Aiyah, dont worry about our so called "classified" areas. Ever since the french started to sell their commercial 1/5/10m i forgot which resolution satellite photos, you can be sure someone will pay for them to photo our entire country since we arent that big anyway.
Sungei Gedong not secret lah. I listen to story when i was still AI trainee there whilst doing guard duty from lao jiao warrant. You will be surprise how active "aliens" are try to look see look see especially in the past. These aliens kenna caught very malu cause they got stuff on shoulder type of alien. Not official visit but not wearing fatigues if you know what i mean.... They never stop trying so we must learn to zip up a little bit when we talk here.

I think they wanted to censor it, but they screwed up and end up censoring things on the right which is not so critical.

I don't think Western Singapore was censored in the past and neither is the present little strip over Kranji censored. These satellite images are taken during photographic sweeps over the area. So some areas don't get photographed.
What's the point of governments censoring Google Earth? Foreign intelligence agencies would long ago have gotten hold of satellite imagery over whatever they want to see. And probably higher resolution that what Google Earth offers. Google Earth imagery is only interesting to the man in the street, who don't get to see such things previously.
Terrorists? I think if they have half a brain, they'll realise they will score a bigger and easier hit if they just detonate a bomb in somewhere public like Orchard Road, instead of some hard-to-access-even-though-you-can-see-it-in-Google-Earth airbase. -
