  Years earlier after CNB was completed, I read somewhere that the USN had the intention to built (or transfer) a floating drydock for Aircraft Carriers (Yes for carriers) at CNB but that was subjected to discussion with MINDEF. WOnder what happened to that discussion IF indeed the USN did bring that topic for discussion here.

  2 RTN ships now in town.
  
  1 of them has a decidedly spruance look.
  
  In fact I thought that ship was a USN Arleigh Burke, but my friend told me the ships were RTN ones.

  Dun tell me I was looking at a mirage with that big "1" on the bridge. Profile's exactly the same with the Tarawa-class LHAs and it was in our waters.

  I never doubted you.
  
  But I never saw it. And upon checking with the duty personnel who track the ships in S'pore, the answer was negative.
  
  Unless of course those people couldn't tell a thing at all which was unlikely since they could actually tell me Tarawa was a LHA.

  Actually the merchant vessels were far more awe-aspiring. Especially since as a look-out I ever encountered a near collision with 1.
