We have been building a strong relationship with the Indonesian Armed forces (TNI ) and It dates back awhile since Suharto ascending to power. We need to parlay, carry balls and be extremely friendly to the Indons generals. If Indonesia ever goes into turmoil or the government have radical Ideas tantamount to SG interest or Islamic Jihads influence, we can rely on these friendly secular generals to put it down for us.
Also an unfriendly Indonesia with its huge population and resources is not good for SG. A corrupted Indonesia is easily influenced. Divide and rule with money. A United Indonesia and It spells doom for Singapore. Also the Indons army is battle hardened and our SAF will have a tough time with them than the Malaysians.
Saying goes Keep your enemy near you.
and BTW Malaysia is lesser of the two evil.
So no choice but must train with TNI and give Indons generals big bonus and free planes -
if the Indons attack, I say we overwhelm them and then re-populate Indonesia with foreign talent from India and China.
And give Independence to Aceh, Ambon,Papua.......

trained with them last year at java...good soldiering skills...experienced...although their older soldiers are not as fit..
do u noe that their BMT graduation march is 100km?
and their Kostrad POP graduation march is 300oddish km in the mountains of central Java?

Well I'm that innocent man. I can prove to you my sanity. I've refused any medication and have graduated from 3.5 years from local varsity.
