  This is a Russian war movie about the Soviet invasion of Afganistan. It is pretty good and avaliable on youtube.
  
  Unfortunately, there are no clips with English subtitles, i am pretty much interested in Soviet military. Anyone here have any clue as to where i can watch this show with English subtitles? Many Thanks

  Yea but pretty unrealistic with the attackers walking to attack the russians.

  Well, you must consider that these Afgan Mujahideen(many versions of spelling this word) fighters during the Soviet occupation think that they will die as matyrs in this holy war and believe that they will meet Allah in paradise with the virgins waiting for them.
  
  Their jihadist religious beliefs coupled with their hatred for the Soviet invaders provided the much needed immensely huge courage to fight the Soviets, one of the 2 superpowers at that time.

  i love war move and one of my favourite is band of brothers , saving private ryan etc etc. are there any more nice war movie? world war 2 more preferred.
