Time for Enlistment of women in SAF/NS?

Given the persistent shortage of manpower we seem to face across the board in all services,from the police to the army,from what I can gather,isn't it time to conscript women into our armed forces?
We already model ourselves heavily on the Israeli's,or at least we try(but lacking their resilience & fighting spirit;no motivation for obvious reasons),but how abourt we include women among our fighting men,for stints of up to a year.
They can be trained in less strenous vocations such as service medics or drivers,and free up manpower that can be diverted to become cannon fodder.Very politically incorrect,but if certain groups can be motivated to die for their religion,there is incentive enough to find a way for them to kill themselves for the country,if need be(playing devil's advocate).
Imagine the dangers of a PMSing NSWoman....

I can totally imagine everyone packing up & leave if this really happens.

I don't think there's a real shortage yet at least for the next 5 years.
We are still able to maintain the size force quite effectively and we even ROD-ed NSman earlier because the size force is sufficient.
I doubt women will be considered for enlistment anytime soon, there's no urgency or operational requirement for that yet.
It would be the last resort if the govt decides that, cause its not the best of choice...first of all, they are really physically not quite up to it....secondly, it will affect their lifestyle, and child-bearing plans.... -

i doubt they will ask girls to go into NS anyway.

woman represent almost if not more 50 % of singapore population...what a waste if we cant use these resource in SAF

Women becoming heroes....Sorry but i aint for it....I dont think women are capable of defending our country...they are weaklings

Every modern army has more non-fighting support soldiers than fighting soldiers. I'm sure women can take up more of the non-fighting roles. -

Any population can tolerate the loss of a large number of healthy males because we are more biologically expendable.A single man can have multiple children.In the event of the loss of a woman,the loss is more critical as they are a more vital resource than man in the nurturing of future population,able to give birth to only one child, and as such should be protected and given a greater share of resources and control.
As it is,the training is already reaching a baseline where we are more paramilitary than military.Singaporeans are basically organised militiamen more than military soldiers.
