Can singapore handle a total war scenario?

I don't mean a contained battle like the Gulf War, where one side has a total superiority in force.
I mean in a world wide war, where both sides are on par with each other ON the battlefield, can singapore surivive from any threat?
Right now, singapore is depending on its technological superiority, so if all our enemies has an equal level of technology with good maintance and etc can singapore even win? -
Then it all boils down to the manpower.

in the bible... it has been shown that david can defeat goliath.... techonology is essential in modern war.. but technology does not equate absolute victory. -

This is an "if" scenario...when it comes to war, given the same equipment, technology and capabilities and equally trained troops, it all boils down to one thing "Who has the stronger will to survive"

total war is different.
total war is a concept where your WHOLE economy, whole lifestyle is dedicated to winning the war.
i feel singapore's survival would really depend on who around us are our friends and who is our enemy. -
to be honest...we're prepared for having no friends and all enemies.
We've never considered allies coming to help....never in the equation, not even USA, although US's presence will balance Asia as a whole, we never even want them to help.
even if all enemies, we can still make it. -
with total war for survival, maybe almost 300K of SG's prime will be for front line duties. and perhaps another 300K for home defense and essential services. and perhaps another 600K be overseas bound with their luggage in tow. man, can singapore airlines handle such stampede?

should 300K of SG's soldiers headed north, they will not just stop shopping at Johore but half of west MY will be ours by then and east MY will join us later. -

First of all the we don't have that many soldiers.
Secondly, in most modern armies, the ratio of support (non-combat) troops is often more than 50% of total.
Possibly higher. -
Singapore is too tiny a country to fight a modern war & without some big brothers backing or acting as a deterrent against the bigger countries around us, we will never be able to win notwithstanding our so called superior weapons as compared to our neighbours. -
If we are talking about total war in S. E. Asia -
We are geared to fight at two war front simultaneously.
One a forward movement up north ( the so called mersing line ) and a holding position down south ( The whole of Riau ). It will be a short and fast campaign, to basically get our neighbours to agreed to our terms. If it fails, we will be having coffee with the Thais at Hatyai while holding the Indons at bay in a stalemate.
Whatever the outcome will be, both south part of W. Malaysia and the Riau Island group will become Singapura land. The negative factor is due to constraints we are not able to engage in a protracted war If it really happens.
We are talking about at least 250,000 men in arms.
