Doing a last favor for a dying soldier

  I think I would actually .... when the time comes for me to justify what I did before God, I'd tell him that I did what I did to bring him from his misery to a better place ... and that I cannot leave him to suffer, and I did it out of brotherhood and my love to him ...

  It is interesting to hear what people from different vocation have to say about this.Like maybe a clerk would whack a dying man's head with a typewriter or something

  I'm from a combat service support element.
  
  Not much difference there, however if I have to sacrifice my safety to place him in my maintenance vehicle to give him some dignity as he passes on, I would without any hesitation.

  Ive seen training accidents and heard stories in my time when I served.Tankee you probably heard the story about a tank that overturned in sungei gedong during training in the early 80s where the mangled body of the tank commander took quite some time to die.My cousin was his buddy and they spoke and hold hands until he passed on.
