Regarding the five power defence arrangement ,i think it is as uneffective as un. No one would be willing to send their soldiers to die for other country..........

never look down on your neighbours....their soldiers are very experienced...compared to ours...our inexperience is only offsetted by technology and a rushing/compact training "syllabus" during ns...

They make up for their lack of technology and proper, efficient management by honing their combat skills and survival instincts as its likely for them to be totally on their own without support during war time. Thus never underestimate them. -
Q: What if you are a POW?
A: You are to disclose only your Rank, Name and IC number. If your captors are nice people, perhaps you may demand for an air-conditioned private room with attached toilet and shower, comfortable bed, computer with internet access, etc, and 2 Privates who are to see to your needs... until time for you to step back into friendly soil...

After the incident when ever they pissed off a malaysian soldier (for example the K4 highway incident where they shot a bunch of malay spec ops 2 KIA..because the malaysian flag looks like the american flag) the entire clan took of running for refuge for fearing the 7th rangers. Note they can always send in their sharpshooters with their infantry squads just like the eastern blocs tend to do. We are civilized due to our education, men by default is still animal and we have our animalistic instincts in us, much like the "flight or fight" mentality and also the "herd/pack" instinct. thats the point...Iban dont decapitated their enemy head..these day, they as modern as us. The whole story about iban shrinking decapitated head were just rumours.....yet the skinnies believe it.
