plus is too big for aerobatics.....Flight demo is ok.....unless we want to be like russian & be the 1st Air Force in the world uses F-15 as an Aerobatics forceOriginally posted by specialOps:The F-15SG not delivered yet....after delivery, getting them through combat readiness will be priority.....they won't have time to waste practising acrobatics....
They been practising like everyday, I was at Kallang at 8am a few days ago, and they were already flying.....
F-5 without fuel tanks....will run outta fuel very quickly on afterburner. With fuel tanks, it can't make high-G turns....so they're not so suitable for a good show.
Phantoms were used at one point by the Thunderbirds before they switched to T-38s because of the energy crisis.Originally posted by duotiga83:plus is too big for aerobatics.....Flight demo is ok.....unless we want to be like russian & be the 1st Air Force in the world uses F-15 as an Aerobatics force

The dangers of this formation is still high. While in this formation, the pilots have very limited visual on each other. Separation distance is barely a few feet.Originally posted by huaichien:No, not any more dangerous than the other formations. The mirror pass is an optical illusion. They are not over each other.
