I hope the Black Knights don't copy the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels' style of a diamond plus 2 solos. Pretty boring style, although it must be said these aerobatics still require outstanding flying skills. I hope the airshow site is within sight of Changi Airbase East's runway, then we can watch them take off and land. Some teams do 3, 4 or 5 aircraft simultaneous takeoffs and landings. That's spectacular.

Was rather surprised why it use the F-16 C for blackknight team when it's initial designation was as a air denfence interceptor. Printing it red and white over it's original colour of grey, will that means a decline in the number of combat operational F-16C that RSAF will had

Saw them at Tengah the other day only one is in white and red the other still in orginal color, the one is specially done up for media , think only when the show is near then they will do up the other craft... imo the red white scheme is damn ugly !!

By next month, all will be in full Black Knight colors.... you can watch them in standard color scheme during training fron then until Feb 08

Seriously, they should send our Black Knights to go learn from the Red Arrows.
The Red Arrows are the only team that I've seen that gives the ThunderBirds and the Blue Angels a run for the money.
I'm still waiting for the next airshow where both the T-Birds and Blue Angels are performing. It will be a hell of a ride! -

The Thunderbirds and Blue Angels are forbidden from performing within 150 miles of each other without special permission. So you won't see them at the same airshow. Outside of the US of A, you are much more likely to see the Thunderbirds than the Blue Angels. The Blue Angels have performed at only a handful of overseas venues.

Recalled Red Arrows last performed in 1996 AA.
Also saw them performed over the Bedok jetty back in 1986/87.
I got only one word on their airman skill: S-U-P-E-R-B!
It is like only yesterday when they had gone so low along the East coast that I can smell their diesel smoke and observed them doing little rolls to avoid the street lamps along the jetty.
Yes, I agreed their maneuvers easily outshine those fly-by-wire Yankees.
