I am sure MY will holler out " Jihad " and that is like putting out the welcome mat for the psycho suicidal islamic extremists to come and attack us .
gents ... simple answer is any sort of war whether MY is the aggressor or SG is... we all lose in the long run .
Question on how many Singaporeans would stay back and fight is as old as Singapore. If the answer is no, we wouldn't be spending billions on SAF and continue on with NS.Originally posted by borgkilla:a few points :
in the future 1/6 of Singaporeans will be foreigners ... will they fight or flee ?
in time of war most will try to ship out family to "safe" nations .. there will be a mass exodus of our population ...
who will man the ship when we are fighting ?

Is this some hypothetical scenario or something you envision will happen....either way its a waste of time.....cause frankly malaysia will drive them back and sack this little red dot for being arrogrant....that's the best scenario if there was any pathetic invasion by little red dot.....do not underestimate malaysiaOriginally posted by y33bas:After 72 hours after Singapore successfully invaded the johor state of malaysia, a cease fire is sought by the UN Security Council. Will that area be transferred to the administration of the Singapore Government? What is SIngapore going to do to cope with the new social, economic problems if it acquired johor?

Exactly because the place you suppose to defend is a “red dot”, so you can’t afford to wedge a war inside it, a war simply will destroy everything within such a space: highest casualties, worst damage, and deepest panic. So, theOriginally posted by Coquitlam:Is this some hypothetical scenario or something you envision will happen....either way its a waste of time.....cause frankly malaysia will drive them back and sack this little red dot for being arrogrant....that's the best scenario if there was any pathetic invasion by little red dot.....do not underestimate malaysia
IMHO, having a hi-ratio foreigners, especially people with skills and knowhows, on this little red dot is an asset rather than a liability. Why?Originally posted by borgkilla:a few points :

it doesn't necessary work that way.Originally posted by LazerLordz:The more connected we are, the more secure we can be.
Any attack on us will impact on other major players, and that's where our second-line of insurance may lie.

And you have certain proof of this?Originally posted by MasterD:The population in the city consists majority 90% Chinese this where land troops of saf will be greeted immediately when they march in,
I sure the Chinese population there will support SAF.
Your post is naive and smack of racism. The SAF will not be fighting a racial war. Go play your C&C.Originally posted by MasterD:first of all in any TAKEOVER you need the support of the locals
there's lots of scenarios how to conduct a takeover there must be an elemnet of surprise
so when there's such opportunities arise there's such posibilites can occur
I think saf had been doing there homework since day 1
OK..
Lets look at Johor
The population in the city consists majority 90% Chinese this where land troops of saf will be greeted immediately when they
march in, till they move up north then they have the villages where the majority is Malay.
So depends on SAF to take down the nearest city first and get the support of the city plp first it can be just walk over
victory without any resists and can be done within 6 hrs of completely take over main utilities like telcomunication,
brocasting etc.
eg: look at Thaialnd coup how many hours to take over bkk, just a scenario.
Second
Due to rising tension between enthic in Malaysia this few years, this may be a wonderful opp for SAF to conduct a take over,
I sure the Chinese population there will support SAF.
As for the manpower to secure jb/johor, lets look at agfha and iraq theres local tht get paid to help the us/uk to take care
of some guard matter, so it lessen the burden of SAF
another thing why I say SAF stand a big chance of winning if they don't use extra force,
and started using propaganda like those jap and you don't attract world attention to you
AS thirdly
I hope SAF had do they homework to check how many army camps situated in JOHOR and how many USEABLE weapon and how many armys
they can mobilize.
Info:
Army Camp IN JOHOR
BAKAR BATU ARMY CAMP --- 3-5KM FROM SG BORDER
MAJIDDE ARMY CAMP --- 10 KM FROM SG BORDER
PULAPOL DESARU ---- 2 KM FROM CHANGI BASE
MERSING cOMMANDO CAMP --- 50-60KM FROM SG BORDER
WORKABLE WEAPON RATE
---60%
NO much tanker sighted within 20-30km in JOHOr before, maybe deep in the jungle near mersing or kluang
most is small/light type vehicle with small light arms sighted within the first 3 army camp above.
this just my 1 cents worth of info.
(SAF must think out of the box if they really wanted to win over JOHOR like those jap, comm and thai coup do it, thts
better to fit our local scenario than those western war)
maybe, just maybe he speaks for himself?Originally posted by chino65:And you have certain proof of this?
Please explain why the Malaysian Chinese will support a SAF invasion?
Oh - because we have a better economy, the Malaysian Chinese would welcome an SAF invasion of Johore?Originally posted by cydus21:maybe, just maybe he speaks for himself?
if i'm one of them, i wouldn't mind.. compare the economy btw the 2 countries. or rather just talk about overall living standards/stratum of society
Boy,malaysia can still last more than 72 hours unlike singapore because they have overseas territories like the massive sabah, sarawak and numerous islands bigger than singapore. My point is they can easily relocate their command post anywhere, making it hard for rsaf to bomb.Singapore move to pulau ubin?? Communication break down,we lose.... don't count on the container lan room to direct the army.......Originally posted by y33bas:After 72 hours after Singapore successfully invaded the johor state of malaysia, a cease fire is sought by the UN Security Council. not supporting his statement! just thinkin if it was me! LOLOriginally posted by chino65:Oh - because we have a better economy, the Malaysian Chinese would welcome an SAF invasion of Johore?
lol but the land mass is many times singapore.Originally posted by vIn.Warrior:keep Johor for what. also not say very fertile land
