You know, a SISPEC trainee once lost a rifle in the jungle... which sparked a massive search which made the local news. There was a long discussion thread on this in the SAF forum.Originally posted by lionnoisy:3.What wouls happen if any SAF rifle missing is Spore soil?

Are you out of your mind? The loss of an individual weapon is an extremely serious thing! Especially when you are talking about the stuff the SAF uses which are assualt weapons far banned by civillian laws!Originally posted by lionnoisy:individual stolen or missing weapons or equipments are
unavoidable,even in sg.
But how aboutAre you forgetting this case where an SAF 90mm AT rocket launcher somehow ended up in civillian hands not too long ago?

Are you talkin bout the Matador incident? Please note that it was an expended piece that the disposable company contracted by SAF in Aussie, didn't take proper disposal measures. So not the fault of our boys.Originally posted by SingaporeTyrannosaur:Are you forgetting this case where an SAF 90mm AT rocket launcher somehow ended up in civillian hands not too long ago?
Yes the RSM's rifle was later found to be crushed by the tracks of armoured vehicles.Originally posted by ditzy:Its only 2 rifles deh, malaysia almost lost an entire armskote. I remember got one time when I still nsf, rsm lost his rifle outfield during a ftx. THen when I was on course, at least 2 rifles got crushed by a traversing turret.
and what happened to the RSM?Originally posted by tankee1981:Yes the RSM's rifle was later found to be crushed by the tracks of armoured vehicles.
The crushing of rifles is quite frequent due to the rifles not being secured properly.
That I'm not sure, but he did organise a meeting with all the specs later after the ex, and advised them the dangers of leaving your rifle lying around.Originally posted by beavan:and what happened to the RSM?
That dude was hanged for his crimes in which he murdered two people.Originally posted by oldbandit:the smuggle m-16 story i think i hear before. years ago, which tat guy strip the rifle and smuggle out parts by parts. i do not have the news to support but i remember there is such news..
