How can you even start to compare the Finnish Army to the SAF. This was the Army that opposed the Red Army For nearly six months during the Winter War of 39-40. They were also the Army that chased German Forces out of their country in 1945.The Finnish Army is a symobl of Finland's fierce nationalism and independence since the partition of Finland from Russia. Thus, with a tradition of having two of the most fiercesome Army in military history as your adverseries, it''s pretty hard to compare an Army with zero combat experience bar those from the Emergency period in the 1950s and 60s.
