The MAF IFVs were basically KIFV.Originally posted by MyVi:Thx & nice shot........
BTW, it's IFV....... type AVC300 Adnan with 25mm Bushmaster.......
Sorry, it looks nothing like a Bradley. And AFV means "Armoured Fighting Vehicle" and is not the name of any particular model.Originally posted by laurence82:oh dear, it looks like a downscaled version of Bradley
its called AFV or somethign right?
The Adnan and KIFV are both derived from the YPR 765 which is in turn an upgraded M113.Originally posted by Black Aces:

The one on the left is M2 Bradley. The one on the right is NOT a scaled down Bradley. It is a completely different vehicle.Originally posted by laurence82:Nope, i really mean a downscaled version of Bradley, only that i got the name wrongits AIFV,
which means i am right larOriginally posted by chino65:The one on the left is M2 Bradley. The one on the right is NOT a scaled down Bradley. It is a completely different vehicle.
Your book call it the FMC AIFV, but its other name is YPR-765, which I think is the name the Dutch gave it.
FMC AIFV is the manufacturer's name. YPR-765 is the Dutch army name. KIFV is the Korean Army's name. Adnan's is the MAF name. All for the the more or less same vehicle built under different license from FMC.
This vehicle is not operated by the US Army, which is why it doesn't have a "M" designation.
The M2 is a specially-designed IFV. The FMC AIFV or YPR-765 is a new vehicle based on the M113, as CM06 correctly put it.
Here's a crazy blue version with a evil-looking attachment in front.
It is not a downscaled version of the Bradley, but suit yourself.Originally posted by laurence82:which means i am right lar
