Police Force issued with Tiger Stripes on Tekong??

What exactly happened there? Saw a couple of blokes in Tiger Stripes, and non-SAF equipment on Tekong a few days ago. Did the SPF suddenly decided to station personnel there permanently?
Afraid of Robbers armed with 9mm pistols landing there again? -

Maybe wad u witness maybe a new OPFOR from the ATEC ppls. Since SAF is getting more equipments and emphasizing on combined ops, maybe they are planning to get ATEC to organise more realistic and more complex exercises for the BN. Bcos, most of the time u see the OPFOR in ATEC use the same SAF weapons, and their doctrines also more or less the same. So maybe the change

Maybe it is a special Gurkha unit?
Most Gurkha I have seen wear Brit-style DPM, jungle hat and Brit style SBO.
Either that or from far the DPM looked like tiger stripe? -
Most probably are the Gurkhas. They have the tanned Chinese look and goes around in police landrovers.

Gurkha's Camo is thos of the British Camo. Tiger Strips in black and white are used by the Police STAR unit. Did u see them wearing black balaclava?

at first i thought they were Aussie troops cos saw that ang mo in the police jeeps during routemarch...then realised that he's the only one and all the other nepaleses were in the same camo uni as him.

If its ang mo should be gurkhas already. Their CO is ang mo.
Btw, the SPF is by default the law enforcer of the nation so it is not a rarity that we find them at tekong.
Anything that happens in tekong outside Mindef jurisdiction will fall to the SPF. -
These Ang Mor Officers are SAS trained and they speak fluent Gurkali.They had a boot camp in Tekong dont know if its still there and the trainees were no different from SAF recruits.....Bluur like Fark! same same.

What kind of tiger stripes? The aggressor units used to wear tiger stripe uniforms but has since been changed.
Police units (including the Gurkhas) are known to use the British DPM tropical uniforms.
Then again, there are the odd units with their own uniforms as well........unless the SAF decide to go back to wearing the original first generation camo uniforms. -
I even heard they are changing to the new Digital Camo for SAF!

Yeah, the uniforms i saw on Tekong that day resemble the British No.8s.
