need help on SINDEX F-16 vs SU-30MKI

I do believe SAF F16s did very well against the IAFs SU30MKI, even though the set paramaters may have been against us. Otherwise, why else would the Indians suddenly decide they wanna buy them new F16s?
The Indians are no fools, they know value for money when they see one. [how else can you see so many indians becoming money changers?]
But it is also good for Sg, that rumour has gone around that the IAFs Su30s pawed our F16s. Our northern neighour will feel oh so proud that they have indeed chosen the right aircraft, as in the su30mkm, to deal with our F16s.
Let them feel the confidence, let our F16s and F15SGs be the underdogs and let them over-rate their self-esteem and underestimate our potentials....hahahah...

it is the right choice. Su 30 MKM is one heck of aircraft.
In any air force combined exercise there is no such thing as 'this AC pwned this AC'... the truth is whoever become the agressor (usually the host country will provide the agressor squadron) will be beaten due to what ever restriction (depending on who is the imaginery enemy is) they imposed on the opfor.
for example during one of the joint exercise with the IAF the opfor were given restriction in terms of tactic and equipment to simulate the north Korean MiG.
so when some paper pusher said 'ah we beat the craap of their advanced AC during exercise.. " is one big pile of PR bs. Candy for you eyes. -

Yes they are using dumb bombs. They are cheap and plenty. Who got the cash?
We have purchased and tested guided munitions though. -

You are totally right, the F-16 did give them more then a run for their money. In fact what happen like you say after that india suddenly became interest in F-16. The strange thing is they are interest in the f-16I sufa version ! I smell a bit of politics and other factors in this too .... planes pretty much comes in package deals now ..... even if the flankers pwnz vipers, you'd still get LBGs, mavericks, amrams, aim 9x, helmet mounted sights, night visions, advance radars out of the package .... and throw that in as a sweetener for any US-India trade pack perhaps ....
the cold war is over ... India is trying to realign itself with the US now, what with the chinese dragon rising on her borders, and a pakistan armed with strategic nuclear weapons .... so yeah, frittering away a few billions for some 3 generation fighter designed in the 70s still makes good sense ...
