'Luiz Henrique Bulhoes, aged 13, was hit as he watched a hostage-rescue training session by the military police in a public school on Saturday in Matto Grosso, central Brazil.
Some policemen were allegedly using real bullets in the session, promoted by the Mayor's office.
Nine other people were also injured - six of them children - as a crowd estimated at 600 watched the simulated rescue.
The teenager was buried on Sunday morning with nearly 100 people joining his parents, relatives and friends for the funeral service at Sonora.
Matto Grosso's Secretary of Security, Carlos Brito, promised a full investigation.
"At least, we can say it's negligence. A very tough negligence," he said, promising results within 30 days'

same incidents happen in malaysia when aussies troops bring life ammo during exercise. injuring a RAMD trooper. after investigation it turn out som remf in australia screwup and mixing life and blank ammo during shipment.
