DonÂ’t underestimate the maintenance for a stealth fighter. The humid & warm tropical weather condition is always a challenge to maintain heavily RAM coated stealth plane like F35. Yanks tested F22 in a dry cool desert range and when they deployed B-2( or F-22) to GUAM for a short period, they had to build special hanger to maintain even temperature and dry, and even though, they still withdraw B-2 to mainland America only after a short deployment period, the same thing, we see F-22 only deployed swiftly in Okinawa. The fact is, we yet to see any stealth fighters being ever deployed to humid and hot weather condition for long.

What we can see the RAM application of the Raptors and Lightnings could only be effective in a seasonal environmental conditions... -

The F-35's greatest enemy is the US military and its changing requirements like changing underwear. Quite frankly most US programs are flops because of poor management. -

The RAM materials being used for stealth planes are all similar, the major differences between old stealth pane and new ones to achieve STEALTH are aerodynamic. Actually B-2Â’s RAM material is also updated when newer, better RAM products available. The weather condition affects mostly the heavy RAM coatings.
Just imagining a lady with heavy facial dress and under a hot sun and in humid surrounding.

Well, during the last Iraqi war, the turn around time for the B-2s didn't appear to have improved, and the F-22 is designed to be a front line fighter. I'm not sure how they are going have a warfighter that spends more time in the hanger than actually fighting out in the front. EADS has conducted the first test flight of a Eurofighter carrying an active electronically-scanned array (AESA) front end for the aircraftÂ’s Euroradar consortium Captor sensor; a potential key element of further enhancements to the Typhoon during its latter Tranche 2 and Tranche 3 production phases.
EADSÂ’s DA5 development aircraft conducted its first in a series of successful test flights with the Caesar antenna from EADSÂ’s Manching site near Munich on 8 May.
“Completion of this successful flight programme is the culmination of four years cooperative work between the major European radar suppliers and Eurofighter,” says Euroradar partner Selex Sensors and Airborne Systems. -

i agree f22 very ex. but maybe we can get say 4 in amt. consolidate these 4 as a surgical tactical strike force. getting a squardron's worth is too expensive.
