Yes the right to bare arms goes deep into American pyche. Just imagine this Our Chicken Rice is like their Guns. Ask either of us to gave up.... think twice.Originally posted by LazerLordz:Same, I'd be one of them weapon collectors if I stayed there.
In fact, we have no right to tell them to ban guns. The issues at hand is beyond the comprehension of many Singaporeans. The right to form a militia, the right to bear arms, these are issues born from their independance movement, and have been socialised into every American that these are God-given rights.
Do you need me to send you a bottle of Yeo's chicken rice chillies sauce. I always see the yeo's truck moving around my vicinity in Los Angeles.Originally posted by moca:You live overseas, right?
Me, too... missed SG food like fcuk
as mentioned, even if they accepted it, its hard to implement.Originally posted by moca:True, no one has any rights to tell the Americans anything.
But these people live everyday with the fear of their kid being shot dead at school. That's pathetic.
Is that right to bear firearms really more important than being alive?
I love firearms, but I would sacrifice the right to own firearms for the right to walk along the street without being shot.
Agreeable... a lot of liberal cities like New York City, Washington DC that has the strictest gun laws and the crime is the worst...Originally posted by hisoka:as mentioned, even if they accepted it, its hard to implement.
i mean in some parts of the us, its like you need a gun as a self protection measure. no amount of laws is going to change that in the short term as you aare dealing with criminals or at least pple who don't respect the laws anyway. so if you are surronded by such pple, you although a law abidding person would have to consider if its worth it to break the law(and the principle that the world will eventually be better if no guns) and get a gun for protection
