Live firing tips

i am going for living firing nxt thursday, and i really want to get be a marksmen.
But, I do not really perform well in simulations. So is there anytips to improve my performance? -
Breath Control, Trigger Control. The platform you're using, SAR21 or M16?

Nose touch the charging handle to ensure the distance of your eye to the rear-sight aperture remains consistent.

hold yr breath when u want to fire n squeeze the trigger slowly

Breathing method - Breathe as usual, in between there'll be a natural respiratory pause, in that moment squeeze off and breathe out, while breathing out there'll be another respiratory pause, squeeze off another round.
Posture - No chicken wing, branch out the leg that's not aligned with your master arm, make sure you're comfortable and relax...

Got ear plugs or not no diff, after u hear the person beside u fire one or two times, u get accustomed to the sound liao lar. I rmb when i threw my grenade, my ear plugs drop off at the same time ... my ears r still working alright ...
Just rmb the breathing technique, and tell urself u can do it ... -
Sounds incredible, but I would like to suggest...
"Be one with your weapon". You must be very comfortable with the weapon you are using. Let it be like an extension of your arm. Point, aim, and shoot and you will hit those targets. You do not need all 4 seconds to aim and shoot. If you feel you can hit, just pull the trigger.
Of course, you must remember your fundamentals... -
zero your rifle and concentrate..
don't get distracted by people or other things beside u.. -
Breathe in, let air out 1/4, hold it there. If possible take all 4/5 shots without releasing breathe (ie. fire in one go!) Take ur time....

USE YOUR EARPLUGS! PROTECT YOUR EARS!
Hearing damage is cumulative, and cannot be restored once the nerve cells are dead. Unfortunately due to the brain's ability to make up for hearing loss, you won't be aware of hearing damage until you have lost quite a lot of your hearing.
And this hearing loss cannot be restored.
On average, serving 2 years in a combat vocation where you see a lot of life firings and loud noises, even with earplugs the grunt loses 8 percent of his hearing. And this loss is for life.
If you don't use ear plugs, the damage done is far worse. You may not notice the effects at first but a few years down the road when you are older it will becoming extremely obvious as you start to lose hearing naturally as part of aging... since you have less of a hearing nerve cell "buffer" to lose, you will suddenly experience a drastic loss of hearing within a few short years... and then it's too late liao.
So don't follow your friends who think they macho can tahan blanks and life firings without hearing protection, while they think they are okay, actually they are damaging their hearing with every pull of the trigger. No matter how garang they are, the fact remains that the pressure waves generated by firearms, even with blanks, are well over the limit that can cause hearing loss and damage.
And factor in all the outfield, all the life firing and all the stuff... that's a lot of damage.
This one dun play play one... I notice that my hearing is less acute then it was before I entered NS, and I used hearing protection a lot.
NS is only for two years, don't lose sacrifice your hearing for it. -
I like, "Be the master of your weapon."
The weapon should come up to a position that is to ur comfort and stability. Don't tilt the head to look thru the sights, cos tilting is very inconsistent. ALways bring the weapon up to u, not ur head down to the sight. MASTER the weapon.
In prone positions. Bring ur body closer to the weapon to aim lower, and push ur body further away to aim higher.
As for the 1/3 lung capacity, When in doubt, just hold ur breath. ATP or BTP doesnt give u the luxury of time to practice breathing controls... thats more for snipers or sharp shooters.
Don't stare at ur foresight tip. FIX ur gaze on the target and bring the aim onto the target instead.
Don't pull the trigger. GENTLY Squeeze it.
FOLLOW through! Keep ur gaze ON the target and if possible minimal movement in ur body other than inevitable recoil action. -

Nose touch charging handle is most importance, sources of ERROR with correct aim, reduce,
remember correct process, when first mag, when second mag, when following mag till when final mag, -
trigger control...feel for the 1st and 2nd pressure points. The trigger breaks at the 2nd point and the weapon will fire off.

Breathing tactics - take a breath just 3/4 full only . then let out 1/2 of you lungs then 1st 3 sec to comfirm aim you should fire on the 4-6 sec .
Before that also do not get too excited and keep staring at target as it will stress your eye ... only start to concentrate your eyes after you breath out. Don't worry 3 - 4 sec should be enough for you to focus on target .
Remember double action . -
When your instructor not looking, aim at your target, hold your rifle down as hard as you can, switch to auto, and ROCK AND ROLL!

M16 ATP is easy to get marksman..
Just remember to chase ur S3 for the $200 after u attain it. It took 5 months for them to process it for me. Why? They "forgot" abt it till my OC saw my badge n chase them.
