tell me about it. i think i spent close to like 50 bucks on my uniform already

Well, I hav been experimenting the Digital Camo in Singapore myself and really find it concealing better then the SAF curent Camo. I tried to hide in a bush in Macrechite and was never discovered by passerbys. But when I wore the SAF pattern, people do look at me and give me a smile before walking off.

I used the ACU from US which I bought from A'Team. Although the camo is not the original one used by the US army, the replica is just as good in camo, just that it is not the Infra red version like the original.
there is another camo made under crye precision.http://www.cryeprecision.com/. The camo is called Multicam and it really works in many diffrent terrain. -

You can try these two digital patterns , i think it should work really well in SG too:
MARPAT
CADPAT.TW
and of cuz the british DPM .
where did u get ur multicam's in ? i want a pair of pants too! -
For the Multicam, you'll have to order it online, which will cause you a bomb. What I suggest is you get all the people who want to order Multicam and order together, then after that buy and ship to Singapore.

In addition to digital camo, what I would wish for also is something that can keep the mosquitoes away. Think that would b very useful in tropical jungles

i get the feeling they are changing the uniform becuz of the LBV. Right now with the LBV the pockets on ur uniform top becomes useless.Maybe they are doing something about that?
I really hope so hah.Anyway i dunno if it's digital or not but it's a new uniform heh maybe just the lay out. -
i dont know about the digital cammo. i prefer the old one, it makes you look like real soldier. digital cammo makes everyone look like a bunch of green walking tetris

If one wants to look like a "real soldier" might as well march into battle with Napoleonic wars uniform, or better, run into battle with nothing but your helmet, underwear and red cape like the Spartans in 300 (though actual Spartans had more pratical wear). -

Well some of the scholar-generals change stuff just for the sake of changing it...
Digi cams are the way to go... I mean the current cammies work quite well as it is if you know what you are doing, but I would take a better hiding scheme any day.
Micropatterns aid a lot more in hiding as opposed to the macropatterns of the old cammies. -

No digital camo, how to look like 3G SAF? -
The talk of Singapore and Malaysia having similiar uniforms now and therefore hard to fight a war will not end with us changing uniforms...
simply because our northern friend will copy us and also change their uniforms.
If change to digital camo.... =.= I wonder how NDP will look like. Maybe you can't even see them anymore -

Actually it is quite funny.
Modern day camo - before digital - was actually designed using a digital technique.
They would take pictures of vegetation, terrain etc, pixelate them, and then draw the camo patterns based on that.
I think digital camo is definitely more effective. -
