IDEX: UAE buys 120 mm mortar system
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has awarded an AED390 million (USD106 million) contract to the International Golden Group (IGG) for the supply of 48 Agrab (Scorpion) 120 mm mobile mortar systems (MMS).
The Agrab consists of the BAE Systems OMC RG-31 Mk 5 4 x 4 mine-protected vehicle fitted with a new three-person fully enclosed cab.
Mounted to the rear is a Singapore Technologies Kinetics (STK) 120 mm Super Rapid Advanced Mortar System
