  would really love to see each squad leader issued with a workable LIGHT comms set. the one currently issued doesn't work.

  What about something really futuristic like using soundwave as a weapon?
  
  If we can harness soundwave in an anti-glass role (spectacles and other lens like rifle scopes, binoculars, LADs etc). Causing them to crack or shatter within the effective range. Can be in the form of a bomb or a trip or remote activated device.
