My military website

Hey guys,

I just set up a military site for my friends in US and Australia. Some of them are SFers and LRRPs during the Vietnam War.

If you would like to trade views with them:

Tiger Force and 5th SFG....One of them was a 1-0 (Recon Team Leader in Mike Force I think).

I sent some of them details to board the site forum....

The rest I would do so asap...

Hard work to maintain a site..

Tiger Force...Reminds me of the My Lai Masscare...but ultimately the unit was awarded a Presidential citation

The unit involved in My Lai wasnt the Tiger Force.

Tiger force was loosely associated with another massacre in An Loc, which the press never really managed to prove or validate. Many ex-Tiger force members did came out to refute some facts the press listed.

I read a memoir before about a pathfinder attached to a Tiger Force. He mentioned how Tiger Force was a "fierce" recon unit back then. A lead squad would act as bait to lure NVA and VCs to fire upon them. In such a squad they carried 5 to 6 MGs!

Dude, my unsolicited opinion:

Too many sections.

The beauty about sgforums is that you can just log into this one place, and get involved in any of the topics even the ones that don't especially seemed relevant to you at first.

Looks GREAT, though. The best one I've seen so far!!!

Just as a hobby and service to all.

Of cos, if there is anything i can do to defray my costs eg advertising, affiliate programs, I would consider it...

Actually, I broached the idea of a forum like sgforum as well..but then again, I thought it would be good to keep the the forum topics as focused as possible.

I have added a collapsible function on some of the forum topics. You can click on "+" "-" to collapse the topics not relevant to you.

I thought Tiger Force was Intended more of a Counter Insurgency or Some form of Force used to stop VC tatics ?

No..Tiger Force is a recon outfit supporting 101 Airborne.

Counter Insurgency Ops are carried out by CIA's Phoenix Program. They recruits from all types on spec ops units in Nam.
