Full auto or 3-round burst?

when you (good skill pax) do a rapid fire of 3 round on S1 and all land on target... isn't it better than to do a burst of 3 round which may not get a single hit?
never agreed on full auto and 3 round burst just to empty the mag. you can't hit your enemy, get ready to be hit at.
and yes my saw gunner always hit what they shot at. the weapon is oni in auto but they shoot in short burst as they are taught on making every round count.
and for MP5 it cat under sub machine gun.
end of the point is the how many rounds you need to get a hit on 1 target/enemy.
soldier at front line are not firing with ammo dump next to him.
ideally to win in a war is to have the enemy go away and not to have a single kill on both side.

Thanks but no thanks, cuz ultimately, in terms of marksmanship, its the training which counts.
