Not just full packs are mounted outside. A lot of other stuff.Originally posted by m113apc:and i love it the way one of the experts said that when a round kennas the m113, it melts the aluminium hull and creates a toxic fume..killing eeveryone inside....haha...
i will think abt this each and everytime i get into our Ultras....
did ur notice how the US troops mount their full packs on the sides of the bradley?correct me if i am wrong, but i think its suppose to act as a form of low low level protection against rpg rounds?
i think also by doing so, they clear the cage behind the ramp door for space for ammo and other stuff, and also have more space inside the vehicle for the troopers...
i just wish there are saf regulars watching the shows and thinking...hey, why dun we try this for our own and see if it can be incoporated into our sop...
i mean, i am sure if the US troops are doing this after all the time fighting around the bradlleys...they must be on to someting....
just my 2 cents
We also thought so, but you must see who is the producer of Power Zone on the discovery channel.Originally posted by SpecOps87:Well, I am seriously surprised that the humvee is considered an IFV. I have always thought it to be a general utility jeep at most.
And it can be found anywhere in the world, the pickup truck aka. "Technicals" HahaOriginally posted by red_amoeba:in my opinion, after watching Humvee making it to the top ten, I feel that the humble pick-up truck shld also be included...used by almost all rebels, insurgents around the globe, the pickup truck is the cheapest form of IFV, you can mount RPG, machine guns, anti-aircraft or double up as ambulance...
its advantage; its cheap, can be mass produced, fast and mobile...trading thick armor for mobility.
then what about our rover?Originally posted by SpecOps87:Well, I am seriously surprised that the humvee is considered an IFV. I have always thought it to be a general utility jeep at most.
Our rover is a 4wd utility vehicle. End of story.Originally posted by alwaysdisturbed:then what about our rover?
lol
