  Wait bomber in this case includes light,medium bombers eg B-26 Marauder in WW2 or A-6 Intruder?
  
  Or does it refer to heavy strategic bombers only

  The de Havilland Mosquito is the stuff of legends, man. I still find it hard to believe that it's practically made of wood.
  
  Trivia: In the Adventures of Tintin, the Estonian pilot Piotr Skut had attacked Tintin and Captain Haddock in a de Havilland Mosquito.
  
  Tintin shot it down with a machine gun.

  I am surprised that B24 / B25 didn't make the list, is it bcos its a medium bomber & not strategic ? B34 is also a surprise, admittingly, I know nothing much about it - & its not as famous like B52.
  
  I think B52 shld be the tops, B29 shld be second - for its role in the WWII. B2 shld be third.
  
  Mosquito was a surprise for me....and I din know it was made of wood.....hmmm....interesting....

  Im surprised that the B-17G is ranked at a low 10th place. That plane made a tremendous contribution for the Allied daylight bombing campaign against Germany. The Flying Fortress also took a huge beating from the Luftwaffe. The Fortresses were indeed so difficult to take down due to its heavy defensive armament and ruggedness that the RLM issued requirements on ways to bring them down. Projects such as the Wasserfall SAM and primitive AAMs were approved but too late in the war.
  
  I think without the B-17 and its compatriot B-24, most of Europe might still be speaking German now.

  Yes i really have to agree...Why not the Tu-10 Blackjet...I think Russian Jets and Aircraft are also as capable as the American Counterparts...
  
  Why mostly OPFOR weapons are based on Russian Designs...Why not NATO Designs ?

  OPFOR story is as followed as :
  
  OPFOR HQ is situated at Redland , which is forever against US.. Redland refer to Communist lands ,like USSR , Warsaw Pact, and other Communist states. Therefore OPFOR is based on Russian designs..
  
  It used US aircrafts but called them Russian... For example, F-5 in OPFOR is known as MiG-21 and UH-1 with grenade launcher at the nose and rocket pods , guns at the sides is simulated as Hinds..
  
  When the time comes, it will use older Apache and called it Mi-28 Havoc..
