Leaders of our time

During WWII we had iconic figures like FDR, Stalin,Winston Churchil,Hitler, people who would go down in history as movers and shakers. During the Cold War, again we had these kind of people in the form of Ronald Reagan,Gorbachev,John F Kennedy. But how bout in contemporary times?Despite all the war and violence, I seriously don't see any present figure that would be more than a footnote in the history books. So in your opinion, who would be the people that would really symbolize this present era?

Osama and his global war on the West?
Certainly these two fellows move and shake the world in less than desirable ways.

Osama I don't really know but Bush is somebody I would associate more with LBJ and Jimmy Carter more than say somebody like Reagan. Somehow Bush doesn't have that personal appeal like the greats.Originally posted by tankee1981:Bush and his global war on terror?
